  • Big Guys Car - 2006 Lexus GS 300

Everything about it is absolutely great except for one thing. Its really hard for a big guy to get in and out of and theres not enough headroom. Its worth it though!

I am very happy with my new GS 300. It preforms great. Not to mention great interior design. The only one thing that I would upgrade in my car is the engine. I would put 3.5 L engine.

I initially bought this car over the Infiniti M35 because of a higher resale value down the road. However, since owning it for 6 months I now appreciate it more than I ever thought I would. Besides, until Infiniti, or anyone else puts out a color to beat Matador Red, Ill just keep putting miles on this one!

  • The best of the best - 2006 Lexus GS 300

This car is awesome and it handles so gently yet still very powerful and has a lot of standard features. The all wheel drive handles great in a lot of snow something that i need in the windy city and the fuel econmy is great. Lexus really did it up with the third generation GS.

  • Making an old trip New. - 2006 Lexus GS 300

When I purchased the first 4wd Sedan in Florida every one said I was wasting my money. On the trip back to New York we hit a hail storm outside Tallahassee. Trucks had overturned but the little Lexus held the road like there were magnets in the tires. It truly exceeded my expectations. Quieter and peppier than expected for a 6 cylinder. It got on the Turnpike and passed trucks with ease. No complaints on performance or dealer contact (the best in my 50 years of driving luxury cars). On the down side the trunk is too small for all the luggage my wife and I take on a vacation, the fold down auxillary access to controls cannot be used when driving and the GPS sometimes gives bizarre directions.

  • Joyride! - 2006 Lexus GS 300

This is an awesome car. It is so much fun to drive that I volunteer to go grocery shopping. We wanted to get the RWD, but got the AWD because we wanted a specific color that is not easily available. The slight drop in the fuel efficiency bothers me, but I forget all about it when I start the car.

  • Sweet wheels - 2006 Lexus GS 300

Great car: elegant and refined styling, super amenities combined with real road muscle, fast off the start power, great gear shift ratios, excellent handling. The Bluetooth-enabled hands-free phone could be improved (wont load your telephone book) and the rear view mirrors that tip down during backup are just plain annoying. Other than that, absolutely no complaints - very happy with the quality.

Luxurious performance was my goal in purchasing a new car and the 2006 GS300 had the best blend of luxury and power for my taste. This car has exquisite fit and finish inside the cabin (quietest car Ive ever driven) with performance thats comparable to a BMW 5 series (though less sporty around the curves than the BMW). The base stereo system is fantastic. The leather is much softer than a BMW. If youre looking for a smooth, elegant, but powerful car, this is the one to buy. Its possible to get most of the extras and still pay less than the base model MSRP.

  • I hate driving...or at least I used to! - 2006 Lexus GS 300
    By -

You know your car is awesome you look for excuses to drive...especially when you hate driving. I love my GS300. When I walk up to it in the parking lot, it makes me smile...oh, the anticipation of a fine, smooth, and comfortable ride!

  • Cool - 2006 Lexus GS 300

Good investment. Its a comfortable ride if you drive a long way. Very fuel efficient. City drive is about 24 mpg & highway is about 30 mpg. Very smooth. On the bad side, the trunk space is small & headlights are low.
